{About} This Space & its Keeper

About this space:

This blog is dedicated to visual arts. In addition to my own work I share art and creations authored by artists established and undiscovered who I find inspiring. While admiring their work, I always credit them, and link back to the source of posted images. I hope this blog inspires others to surround themselves by art &/or find ways to express themselves.

About the author:

me, as a papercut

Before I begin, each sheet of paper requires that I test its texture, fibers and knots for my x-acto knife to find the best route for its cuts. When using solid paper I sometimes first draw the intended cut lines with a pencil on the reverse side – this allows me to cut the entire design in one piece creating a negative of my papercut. I cut through map and music sheets freehand. Visit to view my portfolio & currently available pieces.
