Mieke – thank you for visiting my blog! I’ve been doing different kinds of paper cuts for years, began by self-studying Eastern European folk cutouts. Right now I’m having a lot of fun with hearts – it’s the heart design that inspired me to explore different paper media for which I’m very grateful. There is so much depth in the meaning of the word and its visual representation… but I’m definitely not done exploring other motifs!
