elephants, giraffes, monkeys and lots of dots!

My third baby quilt… for baby Eleanor! (displayed in Lucas’ room) . Ellie was born last week & has two amazing Moms – Robin & Danielle. They decorated her bedroom with air-themed cuteness – air balloons, kites, clouds, rainbows, etc.

It was fun to work with some pastel fabrics. My first quilt was for Gabriel, Joyce & Jon’s son; second was gender neutral (very colorful & fun) I made while we were awaiting our foster baby & didn’t know whether it would be a boy or girl. I already had a bunch of cute fabrics saved that I hoped to use for a baby girl quilt… It just happened that a lot of them also feature elephants (we call Eleanor Ellie for short)! Also giraffes, monkeys and lots of dots! Hope she enjoys this one. Some more pics here.
